The interactive mobile application Velo Romania is part of the national eVelo Platform, together with a website dedicated to the National Velo Coordination Center (CNCV) which is the beneficiary of Investment I3 (Milestone 341) from Component 11 - Tourism and culture from PNRR.The digitization of the cycling routes identified in the Study on the establishment, identification and territorial distribution of cycling routes at the national level by creating a digital application for smart phones (compatible with Android and iOS) aims to develop a sustainable transport system by developing the infrastructure of cycling routes.Velo Romania mobile application provides general and specific information for the users of cycling routes, supporting travel planning, also from a tourist perspective.The coordination of the application development process is ensured by CNCV, to be periodically updated with information about the national velo network, including the administrators of routes/tracks (County Councils, NGOs in partnership with the UATs, etc.).
